Grants Program Overview
The goal of the Nexus Mutual Grants Program is to drive growth within the Nexus Mutual ecosystem. By funding individuals and teams with the expertise necessary to conduct in-depth research, build out our technical infrastructure for new syndicates and distributors, improve the user experience, and simplify the integration process, the Mutual can onboard more risk experts into our ecosystem and reduce friction for people looking to buy cover and protect their assets.
Ultimately, the improvements outlined in the RFPs below and any outside grant ideas should contribute to material growth in cover sales.
Current Priorities
The Grants Program will focus on the following priorities for grants:
- Legal and Regulatory
- Technical Product Improvements

- Distribution and Marketing
- Integrations and Composability
Individuals or teams applying for a grant based on an RFP below or based on their own idea not included in the list below should ensure that it fits in with our current priorities.
