Overview
Currently, members can pay for cover using either ETH, DAI or NXM. Users that do not have any of these assets need to swap into those assets outside of the Nexus Mutual UI, which is an inconvenience for a subset of users. The ability to pay for cover in any asset would be a major UX improvement, which would require any swaps to be abstracted away before the cover purchase is completed.
Scope of the Grant
We are looking for an individual or team to build the functionality for users to pay for cover in a broad range of currencies, with any necessary swaps into the required denomination (ETH or DAI) before the cover fee is paid. Any person or team that applies for this grant should build this functionality using CowSwap hooks.
Desired Outcome
Once we can integration CowSwap hooks into the cover buy process, users can buy cover using a wider range of assets in just one simple transaction since the swap and cover purchase transactions would be packaged together. This has the potential to increase cover sales in several percent and will improve the user experience for a subset of our current and future members.
