Overview
Discretionary mutuals in traditional markets often have capital needs but can find them hard to fill via traditional sources because of the discretionary nature of their businesses. This has created demand for alternative sources of capital, which the Mutual can fill.
The Startup We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a team to launch an underwriting syndicate or broker who focuses on serving the discretionary mutual market (particularly in the UK and Australia) by using Nexus Mutual covers to provide primary or top-up (discretionary version of reinsurance) coverage, similar to the deal structure we’ve established with The Retail Mutual.
